To post a shipment, sign up or log in to your account, click "Post Shipment" from the dashboard, fill in the shipment details including pickup and delivery locations, item description, and preferred dates. Submit your listing and verified carriers will start bidding on your shipment.

How does SHIPEXD work?

SHIPEXD connects customers who need to ship items with verified transport providers. Customers post their shipment details, carriers bid on the job, customers choose the best offer, and the shipment is completed with secure payment processing.

How do I become a verified carrier?

Visit our Become a Carrier page, complete the application form with your business information, upload required documents (insurance certificate, business license, driver's license), and submit. We review applications within 24-48 hours and contact you with next steps.

When do carriers get paid?

Carriers receive payment within 48 hours of delivery confirmation through our secure payment system. All payments are processed automatically once the customer confirms successful delivery.

What insurance do I need as a carrier?

All carriers must maintain valid commercial auto insurance with minimum coverage of $100,000. We recommend $500,000 or higher for larger shipments. You'll need to upload proof of insurance during the verification process.

What items can I ship?

You can ship most household items, furniture, vehicles, equipment, and general cargo. Prohibited items include hazardous materials, illegal substances, weapons, and perishable goods without proper refrigeration. Contact us if you're unsure about a specific item.

How is shipping cost calculated?

Shipping costs are determined by carriers based on distance, item size and weight, pickup and delivery locations, urgency, and special handling requirements. You'll receive multiple bids from carriers and can choose the best price and service combination.

How long does shipping take?

Delivery times vary based on distance and carrier availability. Local shipments typically take 1-2 days, regional shipments 2-5 days, and cross-country shipments 5-10 days. Express options are available for urgent deliveries.

How do I pay for shipping?

We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, and bank transfers. Payment is securely held in escrow until delivery is confirmed. You'll be charged when you accept a carrier's bid, and the carrier receives payment after successful delivery.

Is my payment secure?

Yes, all payments are processed through secure, encrypted payment gateways. We use escrow protection to ensure carriers are paid only after successful delivery, and customers are protected if delivery doesn't occur as agreed.

What if there's a problem with my shipment?

If there's an issue with your shipment, contact our support team immediately at support@shipexd.com or call 1-800-316-0817. We'll work with you and the carrier to resolve the issue. Our escrow system protects your payment until the issue is resolved.

How do I update my account information?

Log in to your account, click on your profile icon, select "Account Settings", and update your information. Changes to email or phone number may require verification for security purposes.

How do I reset my password?

Click "Sign In" then "Forgot Password", enter your email address, and we'll send you a password reset link. Follow the link to create a new password. If you don't receive the email, check your spam folder or contact support.

Can I have both shipper and carrier accounts?

Yes, you can use SHIPEXD as both a shipper and a carrier. Simply complete the carrier verification process to add carrier capabilities to your existing account. You can switch between roles from your dashboard.
